For decades, Revolution Live has been a showcase for the nation's premier musical acts. Now, it's ready for its close-up. The venue has been chosen to serve as the setting of the Bourbon Room for the film version of the Broadway muscial "Rock of Ages."
While that will necessitate the closing of part of the club for the summer, the America's Backyard and Green Room stages will keep on rockin' throughout.
The drinks can be pricey, ranging about $7 for a beer to $10 for a mixed drink, but the sound quality is excellent, and there plenty of places to grab a good view of the performers. Most big acts come here way before they make it down to Miami.
