An Art museum, the Southwest Florida Historical Museum is totally dedicated to the interpretation and preservation of the history of the southwest Florida with focus on Fort Myers. This museum presents the history of Southwest Florida which includes the Spanish explorers, the Paleo Indians, the Seminoles and the early settlers too. There is also a 1929 private Pullman rail car.
