Now among the National Register of Historic Places, the Sunrise Theatre or the Sunrise Building is located at 117 South 2nd Street, and has been influential in fortifying downtown Ft Pierce by housing the many shops and restaurants in the area. The Sunrise Theater hosts a variety of performances round the year, and has hosted several top performers including Grammy Award winner Dionne Warwick, Jazz legend and David Sanborn among others.
