Library East is at present known as Smathers Library. This is a historic library which is situated in Gainesville in Florida. This library was built in 1926 and when it was created at first, it was considered as the largest building on campus at that time. Designed by architect William A Edwards, it was added to the US National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
