There are several places worth visiting near the city for tourists.
The Miami Sea Aquarium is a thirty eight acre world class marine life entertainment park which features 8 different marine animal shows and is a great place to spend time with the family.
One can see dolphins walking on water, sea lions, sea turtles and killer whales flying through the air. Parrot Jungle Islands is situated in the heart of Miami and is home to more than a thousand tropical birds and two thousand varieties of flowers and plants.
There are a number of walking trails and untouched natural flora in the area.
For a fabulous deep sea fishing experience one can visit Old Hat Fishing Charter, which offers yachting trips off the coast of south Florida between Miami and Hollywood beach.
