Indian Shores is a small town in the County of Pinellas, Florida, USA. The town was established in 1949. The Indian Rocks Beach’s southern shore made the town and named it as the ‘Indian Rocks Beach South Shore’. The town was then renamed as ‘Indian Shores’ in 1973. The council members of this historic event include Mayor Lambertus Seynders, James Roesler, Vice Mayor Howard Mann, William Coppenhaver, Gordon Hall, Ruth Paulson, R Savage and other council members.The total population of Indian Shores is around 1792 according to the 2004 census. The town is situated at (27.850668. -82.843407). The town follows the Eastern Time Zone. The total area is around 2.5 sq Km. Out of this, 1.6 sq Km is water and only 0.9 sq Km constitutes land. Almost 64% of the total area is covered by water. The town is dominated by White people. They contribute to about 98.36% of the population. Male to female ratio is almost equal.
