Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary is the largest bird sanctuary and bird hospital in USA. It is a non-profit organization. It provides refuge and shelter to injured, permanently crippled and recuperating birds. Almost 10000 birds are admitted per year. These birds are rescued, cured and released back to nature. The sanctuary is well equipped with a surgical center and consists of emergency facilities. The admission is free and open to public on all days.
