Downtown is a place where one can leave out the hangover of the week and get charged up for the upcoming week. During the summers, one can grab his/her shorts, ice skates, and shades. On July 4, Downtown would be having ice skating apart from fireworks and great music to cater to needs of everyone. The visitors should not miss out on cultural ‘hot spots’ prior to celebration of patriotic weekend. Freedom Ride 2009 is to be held on 4th of July at 1430 hrs. Thereafter, i.e. at 1700 hrs, one would get to see Pat Benator, and Richard Marx, winners of Grammy awards; apart from Neil Giraldo. ‘Boat Decorating Contest’ would be held on 4th at 1600 hrs. Fireworks would get viewed from Southbank and Northbank of St. Johns River at 2145 hrs.
