Treasure Coast is situated in Florida and stretches from south of Hobe Sound to north of Sebastian. It includes all of the coastal counties of St. Lucie, Indian River and Martin County. The name, Treasure Coast is derived from the ships which were wrecked during the 17th century because of the coral reefs in the shallow waters. The coast is popular amongst treasurers, travelers, searchers and archaeologists.
