For those looking to enjoy Key West's nightlife yet stay within a budget, the Hog's Breath Saloon is the best choice for the money-savvy traveler. This saloon, located on Front Street, is a stop on many Key West bar crawls, and for good reason. The friendly staff and cool beer make for a fun, familiar atmosphere.
The official motto of the bar is "Hog's breath is better than no breath at all"; tourists can buy hats and T-shirts with this slogan to remember their night out at Key West. The bar is open from 11 AM to 2 AM, so visitors can pretty much stop by at any time they like. The Hog's Breath also serves food, so guests can stock up on classic burgers, or tropical seafood-inspired cuisine, such as shrimp, oysters, and mahi-mahi.
Different bands play at the Hog's Breath, to create a lively atmosphere, and events such as the "Homemade Bikini Contest" draw in huge crowds. If you are in Key West, this saloon is definitely worth a visit!
