Key West is also often referred to as the Southernmost City as the corner of South and Whitehead Streets is reportedly the southernmost point in United States. The venue is highlighted with a well known attraction, a concrete replica of a buoy brightly painted and titled as ‘Southernmost Point Continental USA’. It is one of the most photographed attractions in the USA.
