Although with newly renovated town centers such as The Loop, Kissimmee unfortunately is not the shopping mecca it used to be for tourists looking to snag a deal on cheap Disney shirts and souvenirs at one of the many outlet stores in the city. Many of the city’s shopping centers are in desperate need of a facelift, including the Town Corral Shopping Center on the corner of North John Young Parkway and West Vine Street.
Mostly deserted, the Town Corral Center has very little too offer to both tourists and local residents. Sedano’s Hispanic Grocery store now takes up space where Albertson’s once was for many years as well as AT&T, Aaron Rents, and a Dollar General Store. Organic-minded shoppers might find locally-owned Chamberlain’s Health Food Store a place of interest but beware of the high prices. Shoppers are better off driving north to Orlando for more affordable natural and organic grocery shopping at Whole Foods Stores.
Unfortunately, there are no retail stores selling affordable Mickey Mouse or Goofy souvenir t-shirts from your Disney World trip here.
