One of the most beautiful beaches on the Gulf Coast! And, the view isn't littered with high rises slammed up against each other! There is plenty of space to spread out on the sand w/o having other people right on top of you, kicking sand all over your towels! Perdido is close to the Flora-Bama, the outlets in Foley, and all the tourist attractions of Gulf Shores without having to put up w/ all of the crowds and traffic during your entire stay. Pensacola, FL is a short drive away if you want to enjoy less touristy night life and dinning. Chet's is a locals favorite seafood resturant specializing in Mullet. Call ahead for hours. I bought a place here in 2011 and now I live here full-time versus the Snowbird that we intended. Being in Bradenton we are close to all the nicest beaches in the country including 20 mins from Siesta Key, St Armands Circle, Long boat Key, the islands and a quick jaunt to Tampa, St Pete and Clearwater. There are all types of art stuff to do such as Ringling brother museum, Asolo theater and ballet, the Van Wezel (recently Queen Latifah and Michael Bolton). I could go on but there is not enough room here to type it all. For the kids there is always something to do on the Riverwalk or any of the Manatee Day's.
