Located in the County of Orange which is present in the Florida State of USA, Maitland is a city that is a vital part of the Orlando–Kissimmee Metropolitan area. This city was named after Fort Maitland which was built on the shore of Lake Fumecheliga. It is located at the centre of DeBary and Sand Lake Road. Maitland is also known as the 'Historical Corridor' of this province due to the various museums present here. This town recorded to have a total land of 14.7 square kilometres. The census that took place here recently showed that this place has a population of 12,019 people. People of this city lead a lavish life and have a high standard of living. This place is mostly guided by tourism as there are many attractions here. A railroad is also being planned here soon which is sure to enhance tourism. The climate here is of mild Mediterranean type and is always found to be hot. The humidity here is around 15-20 percent.
