Chipola River happens to be tributary of Apalachicola River within Florida. Its length is around 89 miles. It goes on to flow in to Dead Lakes State recreation Area prior to reaching Apalachicola. Formation of these lakes took place after Apalachicola went on to deposit sand bars; thereby having blocked Chipola’s mouth. Banks of this river proves t be a good picnic spot.
