The Miami Science Museum was built in 1949 and was originally called The Junior Museum. It got its present name in 1952. The museum has a host of offerings right from the museum store to the various exhibitions, there is also planetarium which has its laser show, weintraub observatory and star gazer video prodcasts and there is a wildlife center also.
