Vizcaya is a National Historic Landmark and also a museum which is owned by Miami-Dade County and is accredited by the American Association of Museums.
This museum is open to the public 365 days a year. The museum was built in 1916 and has a main house, with ten acres of formal gardens, along with a hardwood hammock and soon to be restored historic village.
Some of the events held in the museum are the Moonlight Garden Tour.
