Bicentennial Park is a major public and urban park which is spread over 30 acres in Downtown Miami. This park was open to public in 1976 after it was an old yacht basin. It was named bicentennial of the United States in that particular year. At present, this park is maintained by the Miami-Dade County Parks and Recreation Department. Seven blocks to the south of this park is its partner park, Bayfront Park.
