Navarre Beach is a part of the Gulf Island National Seashore stretch. The beach has been closed for almost 5 years because of Hurricane Dennis (2005) and Ivan (2004). The road connecting the Pensacola Beach and the Navarre beach helps one to enjoy the full stretch of the beach. The white sand and clean and shallow water makes the beach a beautiful place. On its reopening, the administration has arranged various programs to attract tourists to the beach.
