Navarre is an unincorporated community located in Santa Rosa County of Northwest Florida. Navarre has Pensacola, 25 miles away on the west and Fort Walton Beach, 15 miles away on the east. Navarre is a part of Pensacola-Ferry Pass-Brent Metropolitan Statistical Area. According to the survey conducted by Government Services Group Inc, Tallahassee, the present population of Navarre Community is 29,997. The average temperature of the region in July is 90.7F-74.5F and in January 61.2F and 42.7F. The average rainfall in the region is 64.28’. Colonel Guy Wyman, a colonel in the U.S. Army, founded Navarre. He owned the major part Navarre and designed the city in 1925. However, during the Great Depression he could not afford the tax payment. Therefore, he sold some part of his land. That was the beginning of the growth of the Navarre community. Navarre community is a fast growing community in the U.S. Navarre has beautiful beaches with white sand and clean water.
