Blackwater River Forest Area is spread across 190,000 of lakes, waterways and woodlands. It is also called as the “Canoe Capital of Florida” because of the facility of canoeing in the river. There are three rivers in the forest, namely, the Cold Water Creek, Sweetwater-Juniper Creek and the Blackwater River.
Nature lovers, kayakers, campers, hikers, horseback riders, and mountain bikers enjoy the forest and the water bodies in it.
