Sugar Mill Ruins or also known as Cruger and DePeyster Sugar Mill, was once an operational mill which was built during the uprisings of the Native Americans in the early 19th century and is a timely reminder of a time when the Seminole Indians fought the settlers to end the area's molasses and sugar industries. The site was added to the US National Register of Historic Places in August 1970.
