Starke Lake is situated near the intersection of State Roads 438 and 439 in Ocoee. The park is 203 acres and is one of the larger parks in the vicinity. There is also a 30,660 acre of Lake Apopka, which is less than three miles away to the northeast. The main part of the Starke Lake is joined to a small lobe to the south through a narrow canal.
