Perrine is an unincorporated community situated in Dade County, in Florida, US. It is in the Eastern Time Zone. This community was named as Perrine after Dr. Henry Perrine. It was incorporated as a city in 1948. It is believed that an indigenous group of people called the Tequesta Indians were known to be its first settlers of Perrine. They migrated here at Perrine over 1500 years ago.

The total population of Perrine is around 16374 people. However, Perrine was divided into parts, East Perrine and West Perrine.

The climate in Perrine is pleasant. The temperature is highest during mid-year ranging from 30 degrees to 32 degree Celsius. The temperature gradually reduces till the month of December. The highest measurable precipitation ever recorded is 289 mm.

Previously the area was known as a railroad camp from Miami to Homestead. It was at first a Census designated places in 1990 United States Census.
