Plantation is situated in Broward County in the Florida region.
The population of the city is 86,138 (0.08 million). Cape Coral is the largest city in the Southwest region of Florida. Plantation got the name from prior land owner, the Everglades Plantation Company.
The city is surrounded by the Lauderhill in the northeast, Sunrise in the north and west, Davie in the south and Fort Lauderdale in the east.
Plantation has all the necessary important attractions including amazing weather, fishing in saltwater and freshwater, tropical forests and wetlands, great shopping areas, restaurants and overall a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily routines.
The outdoors of the city can be enjoyed at Plantation Botanical Gardens having 20 miles of walking trails amidst flora and fauna typical to the place. Central Aquatic Complex offers tourists a chance to swim in two Olympic sized swimming pools, water playground as well as protected by lifeguards.
