The Sanibel Captive Conservation Foundation provides environment education which is its mission too. this 6,900 square foot of nature center has a touch tank and such exhibits which teach ecology of Captiva and Sanibel. The department offers a wide range of activities to engage the community and the visitors in experiences which is designed to increase their awareness of the natural world.
