The Sarasota Music Festival is an American classical music festival which is held in an annual basis during the month of June in Sarasota. It is sponsored by the Sarasota Symphony and was founded in the year 1965 by conductor Paul Wolfe. He remained the director of this festival through the summer of 2006. After he retired, composer and conductor, Robert D Levin took his position as a director.
