Sarasota Bay is an estuary which is situated off the west coast of Florida. This bay and its surrounding area had appeared on the earliest maps of the area dating back from the early 1700s. Moreover, this neighborhood is considered as one of the 28 estuaries in the country which has been named by the US Congress as an estuary of national importance.
