The Cathedral of St. Augustine or ‘Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine’ is one of the historic cathedrals in the city of St. Augustine in Florida. This cathedral is the home of St. Augustine’s Roman Catholic Bishop. It is situated at the Cathedral Street between St. George and Charlotte Streets. It was named as a ‘US National Historic Landmark’ in 1970. The cathedral has a great historical significance. This was United State’s first religious structure with European influence.
