As per the records of 2006 U.S. Census Bureau, the locality has a population figure of 24,249. The locality is a portion of the Orlando–Kissimmee Metropolitan Statistical Area. St. Cloud covers a total area of 23.8 kilometer square of which 0.11% is filled with water and 27.7 kilometer square is land. The locality is originally situated in the southern banks of the East Lake Tohopekaliga. The locality currently has a racial make up of 90.27% White people, 0.47% Native Americans, 0.07% Pacific Islanders, 2.07% African Americans, 0.95% Asians, 2.06% from two other races and 4.10% of people from other religions. The locality also includes a small population of Latino or Hispanic people.
