Downtown St. Petersburg is known as the Central Business District. It has high rises for official use like the Bank of America Tower. The newspaper, St. Petersburg is headquarted here in Downtown. Downtown also has the Poynter Institute, the Mahaffey Theater complex, Salvador Dali Museum, the Florida International Museum and many such attractions.
