Sunrise Country Club
This country club is situated around seven miles on the west of Fort Lauderdale. Bill Watts was the designer of this club which was established in 1959. The golf features 18-hole course, par 72 from back and in front of the tees. Walking with metal spikes is prohibited and golf carts are offered to the golfers.
Broward County Fair
Broward County Fair is a major festival begins from the Thanksgiving and lasts till Sunday of the next week. This fair is a major tourist attraction hosting numerous contests and displays which is sponsored by the Florida department of Agriculture. In the 11 day schedule various events like farm animal displays, food vendors, spelling competitions, carnival rides etc are included.
