Tallahassee Regional Airport is a city owned public use airport in the city. It covers an area of 2,490 acres, it has two runways 9/27 measuring 8,000 by 150 feet and 18/36 measuring 6,076 by 150 feet. The helicopter operations are generally confined to the Runway 18/36 area. In this airport 76%25 single-engine, 14%25 multi-engine, 2%25 jet and 7%25 helicopter were there until the end of May 31, 2007. The airport is served by Delta, Continental, Northwest and US Airways, offering nonstop services to several cities in Florida. Currently delays do not exceed more than 15 minutes. New continental connection flights are presently running between Orlando and Tallahassee city. We can get rental cars around the airport and many nice hotels to eat.
