Reviews Rowlett Park
Rowlett Park
Rowlett Park is a beautiful park in Tampa that offers a wide variety of amenities. Situated along a bend in the Hillsborough River, the Rowlett Park Trail offers two miles of bike and pedestrian paths through groves of oak and pine trees. There are also a number of trails wandering through the park itself.
With a playground, fitness stations, a pier, dog park, tennis courts, street hockey court and baseball/softball fields—adult wheelchair softball field included, Rowlett Park has a lot to offer for families, groups of friends, or anyone looking to throw a BBQ. There are grills, picnic tables, and you can rent shelters from the City of Tampa. Visit their website for more details.
There is also a canoe launch available for access to the Hillsborough River State Canoe Trail.
It’s a lovely and pleasant place to hold a birthday party or family gathering or just to meet up with some friends for a baseball game.
