Lake Tarpon is popularly known as the jewel of Pinellas County and is situated approximately ten miles, which is 16 miles to the west of Tampa in Palm Harbor and Tarpon Springs in Florida.  It’s a 2,500 acre lake which offers recreation and enjoyment for thousands of visitors in the Tampa Bay area. It is considered as the largest lake in Pinellas County and has 52 square miles of watershed including two largest tributaries, Brooker Creek and South Creek. The lake is a regional destination for all and is known for its largemouth bass fishing. There are also camping and hiking facilities here.
