Weston is situated about 15 miles southwest of the Broward County. The city of Weston is surrounded by the Sunrise Municipality on its northeast, Davie on its east and Southwest Ranches on its south. According to 2005 April census, around 61,042 people live in the city. The racial makeup of the city is 87.83%25 Whites, 3.72%25 African American and the rest are races of minority. English was spoken as the first language followed by Spanish and Portuguese. Weston has become a most sought after place for families seeking good public education. It has parks for outdoor recreational pleasures and sporting enjoyment round the year. Many Weston areas supply scenic walkways along streets good for joggers and bikers.
