The Winter Haven Public Library is owned and operated by the City of Winter Haven. The library was founded in 1910 by a group of civic minded people, and provides the surrounding community with a place to improve the quality of life through ideas, accessible information, books as well as technology for upgrading and contributing to personal knowledge, fun and enlightenment. The library is operated through a Library Advisory Board which consists of five members of the local community.
