Atlanta started with in the form of terminal point with regards to Atlantic and Western railroad; i.e. a project strictly authorized in the year 1836 through State of Georgia. It had originally been known by the name ‘Terminus’. Later on, the name ‘Marthasville’ was given to it. The present scenario is such that it’s considered to be the cultural and entertainment center with respect to south; thereby having attracted around 17 million visitors every year. There are some of the best places which are worth visiting here.
