Atlanta History Centre is situated in Buckhead in Atlanta.
The structure is a premier history museum in America which provides all information about the archives, events, programmes, exhibitions and holds tours of historical gardens and homes.
Two galleries in the museum are dedicated to showing the nations finest travelling exhibitions.
Videos and printed guides are available along with visitor maps in French, German, English, Spanish and Japanese.
There is a visitors’ café, restaurant and a museum within the complex.
There are 6 permanent exhibits within the museum as well as temporary and travelling exhibits which are held from time to time.
The 6 permanent exhibits include the Turning Point which is the exhibition on the American civil war.
The Metropolitan Frontiers which gives chronicles of the expansion of the city.
Shaping Traditions depicts the attributes and development of the Southern region.
Down the Fairway with Bobby Jones depicts the development of golf in the US along with the life of Bobby Jones, a famous golfer.
The Phillip Trammell Shutze, gives information about Shutze, a former architect.
