Clark University is a private, historically black university situated in Atlanta, Georgia. Formed in 1988, the university is a member of the United Negro College Fund (UNCF). Carlton E. Brown is the president of the university. There are presently 3,300 undergraduates and 700 postgraduates enrolled here. The nickname of this university is Black Panther.  In 2008 list of “Best Colleges and Universities”, this university was ranked on the Washington Monthly edition, in number 24 out of 34 best.
