Georgia State University is located it the city of Atlanta, Georgia. With over 30,000 graduate and undergraduate students, it is the second-largest institution in Georgia. The huge urban campus of the university spreads across an area of 34 acres encompassing 40 buildings, which make the university a massive part of downtown Atlanta. It is home to a huge multi-million dollar Science Park that features laboratories and classrooms. The university is located in close proximity to the famous Broad Street, known for offering an NYC-feel, wonderful restaurants and exciting nightlife. Students of the university frequently browse the food carts and vendor huts in Woodruff Park located nearby, which presents free concerts on Wednesdays.
