Brunswick is a major port city and the seat of Glenn County in Georgia, USA. Located on the Atlantic Coast, the city covers an area of 65.2 sq km. The city has a population of around 16,000 but the Brunswick Coast overflows with vacationers during the peak season.
Due to the warm Atlantic waters, Brunswick has a humid subtropical climate, with mild winters and hot summers. The average summer high is 32°C while the average winter low is 5°C.
Brunswick’s location along the coast has made it a very important port on the Atlantic Coast. Also, the coast invites a large number of tourists with its golden sandy beaches and recreational opportunities.
Historic Downtown Brunswick boasts a magnificent deep-water harbour and a vibrant waterfront park. The area serves as the gateway to the Golden Isles.
