The Polk County Historical Society Museum along with gardens was built in 1924 and has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This museum is dedicated to preserve the history and the heritage of Polk County. It also showcases the displays of the early historic artifacts of Indian, industrial and such domestic items. There are beautiful colorful gardens which surround the museum.
