The historic Peachtree road, constructed in the War of 1812, is the most famous road in Duluth.
Gwinnett Fine Arts Center is a must visit for art lovers. Apart from housing an impressive permanent collection, the museum also hosts regular exhibits of artwork and sculptures. It houses several art galleries, a ceramic studio as well as a gift shop.
Also of note is the Jacqueline Casey Hudgins Center for the Arts. Housing a variety of contemporary as well as folk artwork, the centre has an onsite award-winning gift shop that should not be missed. Another gallery worth visiting is the Carter House Gallery and Framing.
History lovers will enjoy the Southeastern Railway Museum, which is particularly popular among children. Another museum designed specifically for children is the Children’s Arts Museum.
