6th Cavalry Museum executes the task of preserving an extremely rich ‘military history’ pertaining to ‘Fighting 6th Cavalry’, that had been stationed at Fort Oglethorpe between 1919 and 1942. Previously it had been US Cavalry regiment. However, later on, it got transformed in to ‘6th cavalry Regiments’. Cobra Gunship Helicopter is the main attraction of this place.
