The city of Gainesville shows us the nature’s beauty at its best. The Gainesville city has the Blue Ridge Mountain on one side and comprises of many lakes in the vicinity of the mountain. The city holds the lake Lanier which is counted amongst the most famous lakes in Americas and as a well known water reservoirs. It is the major tourist attraction in the city of Gainesville. Lot of water sports are held in the other lakes of the city every year increasing the footfalls of more tourists in the city. The magnificent dam built over the giant river of Chattahoochee is very well known for its hydro electric power generation. The dam is amongst the very few dams in the state which work on the concept recreation of energy and power. The city has its major count of tourists for the purpose of sight seeing and to experience nature at its best. However, the city does not have many art galleries and museums.
