Situated in Houston County in Georgia, USA, the town of Perry is located on the Big Indian Creek. It is spread over an area of 42.5 sq km and has a population of over 10,000.

The climate in Perry is warm during summer with an average temperature of around 23°C, while in winter the average temperature is around 5°C.

Founded in 1823 as Wattsville, the town was later named after Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry, a war hero. The town was incorporated in 1824.

Perry is strategically located at the intersection of three major state and national highways. Known as the ‘Crossroads of Georgia’, the quaint town has progressed into a commercial and industrial centre. With a combination of a mild weather and scenic beauty, Perry has fast become a tourist attraction.
