Fort Federica plays an important role in the history of Georgia. It is the same port where British colonies defeated the Spanish army in 1972 to ensure its future. It is located on St. Simons Island.The museums remains open for the visitors seven days a week between 9a.m to 7 p.m. it offers many options for the visitors like the bloody marsh unit, archeological museum and many more
