The city of Rome is located in the northern hemisphere of the Georgia state. Of all the cities in Georgia, Rome is the largest city of all. It is said to be large in terms of both area and population. The city has its name same as the prime city of Rome in Italy. It is given this name because of its geographical location which is same as that of the Rome in Italy. The city is surrounded by seven hills which is the distinct aspect of the city. There are still many contradiction of who found out the city but it is believed that the Spanish had the initial control of the city in ancient times. The city comprises of over 80 square km in area. It is a hilly terrain and plains are rarely seen in some parts of the city. The population of the city as per the last census ranges to around 40,000. The climatic conditions over here are ideal for a hilly area. The city has cold winters and a nice amount of rainfall. The summers are short and not very hot.
