In the Georgia state in the United States, a suburb of Atlanta has been incorporated as a new city called Sandy Springs. It is situated in Fulton County.
In 2006, it was the sixth largest city in Georgia and had a population of 97,898.
This city is bounded by Dunwoody towards the east, Atlanta towards the south, Cobb County towards the west and north and Roswell towards the north.
The society is made up of Whites (77.55%), African Americans (12.04%), Native American (0.18%), Asian (3.29%), Pacific Islander (0.05%) and the rest from other races.
